I went up to see my Granddaddy, James Mabe and his wife Alta today. I had a very nice visit! Sadly it's been WAY TOO LONG since I've been up to see them. They only live about an hour away. It was good to see them though.

I wanted to see them plus find out some family history information on that side of my family.

I'm waiting on them to email me some pics that they took and I'll post. Alta got a picture of me and James together. I think my mom looked alot like him!

I found out that he was a Paratrooper in the Army (don't know if I spelled that right). But how cool is that?!! He was talking about how tuff it was to do at night b/c you couldn't see where you were landing. OUCH. No wonder he has bad knees! I think I get a bit of that from him too, along with his good looks! :) Hee-hee!
