18 years!

I can't believe that it's been 18 years! Sunday the 27th will be Steph's 18th birthday! Wow! Where did these years go?! But somehow it seems like yesterday that my labor pains started and I was getting ready to head to the hospital. Let me just say - I was scared to death and ready to get it over with. The epidural was wonderful though! After about 36 hours in labor, Stephanie made an entrance into this world about 1:45 am in the morning weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. And just let me say that she was none too happy to be here. She came into this world screaming. Wow - what a set of lungs she had on her! (and she still does!)
Oh, but when they placed her in my arms.....what a feeling! My beautiful baby girl! I was ever so glad to have her here! I thank God for her everyday! I feel truly blessed. She is becoming a beautiful young woman and I pray for God's blessings in her life and that she will give her life to Him.
I'll post some pics later. I need to get some "old" ones scanned and I'll be taking some new one's this weekend.

CATS!

Yes! I'm going to see Cats tonight. It opens here at Ovens Auditorium tonight! This will be my 3rd or 4th time to see it. I've always enjoyed it when I've seen it before and I'm really looking forward to it tonight as we have 2nd row seats and I'm going with my dad, step-mom, aunt and uncle! A friend from work was supposed to go, but bless her heart, she got home from work today and found her little dog (Maggie) very sick, so she has to stay home with her. I hope Maggie will be ok!
Wendy I'm sorry you can't go.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAY DADDY!

Yep, my daddy is a New Years baby! :)
We got together at my aunt's for lunch today. Yum. Greens, black-eyed peas, bbq pork ribs.
Here are some pics.

That is a pack of photo paper and ink for his photo printer that I got him for his birthday last year. He JUST learned how to use it Christmas Day. He never would sit down and read the instructions. :)
