Ok, here's som pics from my trip up to Fancy Gap, VA yesterday. This is the Stockner Family home (on my mom's side). And here are som other pics...my great great grandparents and then my great great great grandmother!

I really enjoyed myself yesterday.... just walking around the grounds and through the old house. It's kinda hard to believe it's still standing. I feel truly blessed to be able to reach out and "touch" a piece of the past. Know what I mean?

Hi, my name is Ashleigh and my in-laws live in Skyland lakes. We walked to the homestead and it is gorgeous. I took some photos of the house and the grounds and a friend of mine was curious (frankly, so am i) about the worn flags. My father-in-law decided to tie a new flag on the pole in case you wanted to replace it. I wasn't sure if there was a history there, so I googled it and found you! Beautiful property!
